In the automotive workshop or bench workshop is known there are two types of work tools are hand tools and powerful tools (hand tools and Power tools). The two types of that tools are distinguished by their propulsion, hand tools mean tools which in their use only rely on human power, wh power tools to move them using the auxiliary power from the machine, for example, the grinding machine to be able to spin the girder must be rotated by an electric motor.
Locks are tools for opening and locking, such as door locks, cabinet locks, drawer locks and more. The key in the sense of the workshop equipment has the same function that is to open and tighten (lock) a bolt to its nut or vice versa.

Key Pas(Open End Spanner)
A wrench is made from high-tensile armor materials namely metal alloy Chrome Vanadium, this key has a stalk (shank) with a head on each end which makes an angle of 15 against the handle. There is a special design on wrench 90dari JAWS with the direction of the handle. Used to remove the bolt or nut that is already relaxed with a socket or key ring. Allen Spanner

Wheel Nuts and Bolt Spanner

Screwdrivers
Screwdrivers in set units of different size and shape of movers, long , short, very short (stump). The screwdriver consists of a rod made of high-quality hard steel with one eye at one end and a handle made of plastic/wood printed on the trunk. Screwdrivers are used to remove/attach screws from motor vehicle components such as on; headlights, radiator protectors, and for removing binders such as box screws having relatively low firming moments. Screwdrivers can also be used to pry the mold and press/push as in the installation of a glass blower.
There are 3 types of screwdriver is a regular screwdriver, an offset screwdriver, and a mask screwdriver (screwdriver knock).
- Regular Screwdriver
- A regular screwdriver consists of a stem and a screwdriver blade. Screwdrivers are commonly used to loosen/tighten screws or bolts according to size.
- Screwdriver Offset
- The offset screwdriver is shaped like an "S". serves to tighten the bolts with grooved heads or screws that are not reachable by ordinary screwdrivers.
- Screwdriver Knock
- The screwdriver serves to harden/bend the fluttering head bolts or screws that have a relatively higher firing moment. The screwdriver is made up of removable stems and blades. When used, choose a kettle screwdriver that matches the size and shape of the screws or bolts.
Pipe Lock
Pipe locks are used for melting and installing pipes with threaded joints or holding other cylindrical objects. Its construction is almost the same as the wrench, has a silent jaw and a sliding jaw and a tuning thread. At the stem, there are bolts of jaw positioning.
Tackle
Tackle is a lifter, consisting of bracelets (shackle), swivel hooks, hooks, sling, eyebolts, chains and special hooks used for lifting and any clamps used to secure the wire. Tackle serves to lift or move heavy loads up to 5 tons.
Tracker
The tracker or puller is known as a special key to relax or tighten the moments of a number of vehicle components that can not be reached by a regular key. Therefore tracker deliberately designed specifically for special needs. One of the uses is to remove the bearing or magnet from the holder.
Tang Scrab
Tang Scrab is also because it can be used to grip objects strongly. This type of pliers use the toggle principle to lock the jaw in a pinch position. By changing the adjustment screw (screw adjuster), the jaw openings of these pliers can be adjusted for different sizes. THE DAMAGE OFTEN OCCURRED IN LOCKS
The damage occurred in locks are usually caused because of two things, namely:
A. The ravages of usage
The key usage is not appropriate procedures or SOP can cause:
- Jaw aus
- Broken Jaw
- Handle broken
- Loss of the components – a key component
B. Damage from storage
- Dent
- Crooked
- Rust
MAINTENANCE AND CARE THE KEY
In order for the key that we use are not quickly broken, then there are a few things to be aware of, namely:
- use appropriate key functions and capacity (according to SOP)
- check the key conditions before, during, and after use
- placement of keys should be classified according to its kind
- do not use the key to hitting
- do regularly inventory
- clean the keys from the oil, grease and dirt after use
- do not put the key in place that can potentially result in damage
- do not put the key in a manner cast
